CORE Project Information System

Q4 of 2023

In November 2023, my manager at CORE Architecture gave me the opportunity to find an inefficiency within our department and come up with a plan to fix it. I had noticed that when Marketing needed to collect information from Project Managers, it was a long, indirect process. Parts of the information needed was being stored in 4 different places.

I took all the information we need to make proposals, get project photography, and put together digital marketing and consolidated it to one simple Airtable form. During the implementation of this process, I found out that the administrative team was also collecting some overlapping information and so we combined the Airtable database and added the two more forms for Project Managers to fill out depending on what stage the project was in. The forms also automatically notify team members when they have been filled out, which improved the effectiveness as this wasn't being done before.

Church Youth Activities

2019

In 2019, I was apart of a church youth committee to plan activities for the over 200 youth aged 12-17 in our area. The first activity I helped plan and execute was a service activity where as youth came in, they received a different colored paper, which represented what service group they would be in. From there, groups were split up into smaller groups of 4-8 and went around to pre-planned service projects around our community.

The second activity that I helped plan and run was a 'carnival' with games and challenges, including a craft area for people who didn't care for the other options. The final event I helped with while on the committee was a devotional where I gave a speech encouraging youth to find ways to serve those around them and share their light.

CORE 25th Anniversary Open House

October 2023

As a part of my job as a Marketing Specialist at CORE was helping plan the company's 25th anniversary open house in their newly renovated and expanded office. We decided to have two sections of the open house - a business relations section as well as a family one in the evening. I created the design for the physical invitations as well as a digital emailed one. I also helped put together swag boxes and information boards & slideshows around the office.

WWS Mentorship

September 2022 - May 2023

During my junior year of college, I became a mentor through the Women Who Succeed organization to three high-school girls and met with them virtually once a month to discuss different topics like personal & career development, community involvement, and college preparedness.
